The “optimized Cost Per Click (oCPC)” function* in the ad product “SmartNews Ads” offered by SmartNews automatically optimizes bidding prices for target cost per action (CPA) and enables automation considerably compared with conventional promotional campaigns, but it was still necessary to manually replace ads, adjust daily budgets according to ad performance, etc.
Meanwhile, “SmartNews Manager,” an ad management package developed by our company, actualizes more automated operation through the combination of two solutions: “Ad Optimizer” and “Budget Adjuster,” and maximizes the effects of “SmartNews Ads.”
【1】 Ad Optimizer
Based on the distribution algorithm and the scrutiny logic, the distribution of some ads is suspended when they are judged as inefficient, and optimization is conducted for maximizing the number of actions by customers. In addition, with the grouping function, optimization is conducted for even different target CPAs for respective groups.
【2】 Budget Adjuster
Inside a specified group, campaign budget allocation is optimized, and it tris to maximize the number of actions by customers within the total budget. Furthermore, this is mounted with the function to estimate the increase in CPA from the budget change amount and the past distribution records, and so it can realize stable optimization while preventing CPA from rising steeply.
